Job summary

Blattner Energy is seeking a Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for gas power generation projects in Minnesota. You will oversee Assistant Superintendents, Forepersons, and craft personnel, ensuring safety, quality, and cost control while coordinating with site leadership.

Responsibilities include scheduling resources, enforcing regulatory compliance, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with owners and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; or 2-year technical college with 3+ years supervisory experience; or 6+ years of supervisory experience.
• Five years’ experience supervising a construction crew in grading, structural, electrical, or mechanical trades.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision of Assistant Superintendents, Forepersons, and craft personnel to ensure safe, productive, and quality work while controlling costs.
• Schedule labor, materials, tools, equipment and subcontractors to optimize resources.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, enforcing company and site safety practices.
• Coordinate with Site Manager and other superintendents to staff and plan work.
• Mentor Field Construction Coordinator and Field Engineers.
• Relocate to project site for duration of each project.
