Job summary

Salesforce is hiring a technically strong, energetic engineering leader to run the software engineering team for the AppExchange Go To Market App. This platform transforms AppExchange into a fully integrated, transactable marketplace, accelerating ISV sales and providing customers a seamless way to purchase, deploy, and pay for solutions, with minimal manual intervention.

You will drive architecture discussions, mentor engineers, partner with Product Owners, and stay hands-on when needed to

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience
• 3+ years directly managing and mentoring software engineering teams
• Deep technical background in scalable, highly available platform development
• Focus on Java/JVM languages and modern cloud architecture
• Experience leading teams with AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes and Terraform
• Proven track record building reliable, self-healing services with end-to-end ownership

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture discussions and technical strategy to support long-term product stability and scalability
• Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering with product priorities
• Mentor and grow engineering talent and participate in hiring
• Stay hands-on with technical work when needed to keep skills sharp
