Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a technically strong engineering leader to run the software engineering team for the AppExchange Go To Market App. This leader will drive architecture, align with product priorities, and mentor a high-performing team across AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, and AI tooling.

You’ll lead discussions, own end-to-end service delivery, and contribute hands-on when needed to maintain technical excellence and product momentum.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive engineering experience
3+ years directly managing and mentoring high-performing software engineering teams
Deep technical background in scalable, highly available platform development
Experience leading teams with major public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Kubernetes
Built reliable, self-healing services with robust automation and end-to-end ownership

Responsibilities

Lead architecture discussions and set technical strategy for long-term stability and scalability
Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to align engineering with product priorities and communicate risks
Mentor and grow engineering talent, guide hiring and career development
Stay hands-on when needed to keep skills sharp and support the team
