Job summary

Capital Group in Southern California seeks a Senior Manager for Portfolio Construction within RAPC to lead the Tools and Insights capabilities. You will shape the roadmap, drive delivery, and elevate engineering practices across a diverse portfolio of investor-facing analytics and workflows.

You will partner with Product, investment professionals, and IG Tech to deliver scalable solutions, mentor managers, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Proven leadership of large engineering teams delivering investor-facing tools.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture, APIs, testing and observability.
Experience building data platforms and investment-related workflows.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve the long-term RAPC strategy and roadmap for Tools and Insights.
Lead engineering execution across investor-facing tools and insight capabilities.
Establish operating mechanisms to provide visibility into progress and risks.
Coach engineering managers and senior individual contributors to grow the team.
