Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Senior Specialist for the New Investment Strategies & Capabilities team in Southern California. You will evaluate opportunities, conduct market research, and translate data into strategic recommendations for stakeholders.

The role supports roadmaps, business cases, and product design, leading projects with senior leaders across functions. You should have 5+ years in relevant fields and strong investment knowledge, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and influence

Qualifications

You have at least 5 years of experience in product strategy, product development, management consulting, investment research / management, corporate strategy, or a related field.
You have strong investment acumen and a general understanding of investment vehicles, asset management, and markets.
You can translate qualitative and quantitative information into actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
You are a structured problem solver comfortable with ambiguity and evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

Evaluate new opportunities and conduct market and competitive research.
Translate complex information into clear recommendations for governance groups.
Contribute to strategic roadmaps, business cases, and product design initiatives.
Lead small- to medium-scale projects and partner with senior leaders on larger efforts.
