Job summary

Stellarus is seeking a Sr. Manager, Engineering to lead a team delivering complex services, integrations, and cloud-native applications.

You will ensure strategy, structure, talent, and execution discipline to create secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions while aligning with senior leadership and cross-functional partners. You will guide major engineering decisions, promote CI/CD adoption, observability, and secure development, and drive enterprise platform modernization in a regulated

Qualifications

> Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience or equivalent mix of education and experience.
> 8+ years of progressive technology experience in software/platform/infra engineering or related fields.
> 4+ years of people management experience overseeing technical teams.
> Experience leading multiple teams or domains with accountability for delivery and leadership.
> Strong knowledge of modern software engineering, cloud, DevOps, SRE, automation, security, and lifecycle management.
> Ability to shape practices and drive CI/CD, observability, security, reliability, and scalable architecture.
> Experience modernizing enterprise platforms, reducing technical debt, and maintaining secure technologies.
> Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and stakeholder interactions.
> Budget, vendor management, contracts, and technology roadmaps experience preferred.
> Strong communication for senior and cross-functional audiences.
> Experience in regulated, healthcare, or cloud-native environments preferred.

Responsibilities
