Job summary

Stellarus seeks a Sr. Manager, Engineering to lead a team delivering complex services and cloud-native applications. You will guide major technical decisions, resolve risks, and drive modernization while partnering with product, security, and leadership to align priorities.

The role emphasizes developing leaders, maintaining execution discipline, and fostering continuous learning across stakeholders and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of additional relevant experience.
• 8 years of progressive technology experience in software/ platform/ infrastructure engineering or related disciplines.
• 4 years of prior people management experience with coaching and evaluating technical teams.
• Experience leading multiple teams, platforms, products, or technology domains with delivery accountability and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering, cloud architecture, DevOps, SRE, automation, APIs, secure development, and lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated ability to shape engineering practices, improve consistency, and drive CI/CD, observability, and scalable architecture practices.
• Experience modernization of enterprise platforms, reducing technical debt and improving resilience.
• Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and interact with all management levels.
• Experience with budget management, vendor management, contracts, and technology roadmaps preferred.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for senior and cross-functional audiences.
• Experience delivering in regulated, healthcare, cloud-native, or platform-based environments preferred.

• Guide major technical decisions, resolve complex risks, and drive modernization and reliability improvements.
• Partner across Product, Architecture, Security, Platform, Infrastructure, business, vendor, and senior leadership to align priorities and drive outcomes.
