Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Document Control professional to support T&S Engineering by managing the Document Management System for project and drawing records. The role requires interpreting engineering standards, ensuring compliance, and maintaining document controls in a fast-paced environment, including extended hours during storms or emergencies.

The candidate will train personnel, develop department procedures, and participate in design reviews to ensure documents meet established requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 3+ years of technical experience, or an associate's with 5+ years, or 7+ years non-degreed
• TECH test completion required (Bachelor's exempt)
• Ability to analyze electrical and mechanical systems
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of regulations, codes, and practices for discipline installations
• Proficient CAD skills and document management tools

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the Document Management System with technical and project documents
• Ensure procedures comply with regulations and train personnel as needed
• Develop DMS processes and review documents for compliance
• Highlight problems and drive process improvements
• Support engineering initiatives and accounts/roles in the DMS
• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff
