Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking a Document Control Specialist to support T&S Engineering projects and drawings involving utility infrastructure modifications. You will interpret standards, manage document control processes and ensure timely compliance across internal procedures.

The role requires organizing the DMS, training staff, and collaborating with engineering teams to maintain accuracy, traceability, and safe operations during storms or energy delivery emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 3+ years of technical experience, or an associate's with 5+ years, or 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Successful completion of the TECH test (Bachelor's in Engineering exempts the TECH test).
• Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulations, guides, standards, codes and practices for the discipline.
• Proficient CAD/Computer-Aided Design skills.
• Valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the Document Management System for technical data, drawings, specs and project documents.
• Train personnel on the Document Management System, practices, and procedures.
• Develop D&S Engineering Document Control processes and procedures.
• Review documents for compliance and highlight areas for improvement.
• Support engineering initiatives and project clean-up activities.
• Manage accounts, roles and privileges within the document management system.
• Evaluate effectiveness of current design processes and participate on teams.
