Job summary

Jobtailor in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Workday Integrations Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Studio. You will support existing integrations and resolve issues with strong technical expertise in the Workday suite.

You’ll develop and support HR domain integrations (Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting), document lifecycle artifacts, write tests, review code, and provide production support while ensuring compliance with HRIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Workday HCM integrations (Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting).
• 2+ years of experience with Workday integration types including EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio.
• 2+ years of experience creating Workday custom reports and calculated fields.
• 2+ years of experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors.
• Good understanding of Workday security.
• Experience with document transformation, XSLT, XPATH etc.
• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external resources.
• Effectively communicate by motivating and inspiring others through clear and proactive communication.
• Make balanced decisions and think strategically by being a forward thinker.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integration solutions using EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio.
• Support existing integrations.
• Resolve integration issues requiring in-depth expertise in the Workday solution.
• Develop and support integrations in Human Resources domains including Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting.
• Provide documentation and artifacts for each phase of the development life cycle.
• Develop test cases and peer review code of other developers.
• Provide production support and respond to issues and incidents in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with technical best practices, standards, and policies determined by the HRIS team.
• Work closely with internal and external resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
