Job summary

Infinite Solutions is hiring a Senior Engineer for our Help Desk in New Albany, Indiana. The role emphasizes owning complex, multi‑system tickets, diagnosing root causes, and mentoring Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians to elevate service quality.

You will strengthen client environments across Microsoft 365, Windows, Entra ID/Active Directory, and endpoint management, with hands‑on networking skills (routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, VLANs, Wi‑Fi).

Qualifications

• Experience with MSP or managed services handling complex, multi-system issues.
• Fluency with Microsoft 365, Windows, Entra ID/Active Directory, and endpoint management.
• Strong hands-on networking troubleshooting: routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, VLANs, Wi‑Fi.

Responsibilities

• Will support high-level tickets, identify root causes, and mentor Tier 1/2 technicians.
• Strengthen client environments across Microsoft and network stack.
• Collaborate to resolve problems at the root cause rather than symptom.

Job description

Infinite Solutions is hiring a Senior Engineer for our Help Desk in New Albany, Indiana, a critical thinker who supports the higher-level, multi-system tickets, connects related symptoms across systems, and resolves problems at the root cause instead of the symptom. You will strengthen client environments across the Microsoft and network stack and mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians.

What you bring: significant hands-on MSP or managed-services experience with complex, multi-system issues; strong diagnostic instincts; deep fluency across Microsoft 365, Windows, Entra ID / Active Directory, and endpoint management; strong hands-on networking troubleshooting (routing and switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPN, Wi-Fi); Microsoft 365 Certified Endpoint Administrator (MD-102), or demonstrated equivalent competency in Microsoft 365 administration and modern endpoint management, with CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA, and exposure to SD-WAN (VeloCloud or similar), dynamic routing (OSPF/BGP), and Azure networking, a plus. AZ-104, AZ-140, SC-300, and AZ-305 recommended; ConnectWise experience a plus.
