Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a Senior/Staff Engineer to provide technical leadership in Electric Transmission projects. The role involves coordinating complex engineering tasks, managing supplier relations, and ensuring compliance with design criteria and standards.

The candidate will lead design reviews, support RCA activities, and coordinate with field operations on transformers, switches, breakers, and related equipment. Travel to domestic and international sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• ABET-accredited program or equivalent international accreditation recognized under Washington Accord.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Dominion Energy Electric Transmission field operations, focusing on transformers, switches, breakers, voltage regulators, circuit breakers, and instrument transformers.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement, operation, and decommissioning activities.
• Lead design reviews and FATs, document design requirements, and support qualification of new equipment.
• Support field organizations with emergencies, maintenance, and root cause analyses.
