Dominion Energy is seeking an Associate/Engineer level professional to support engineering tasks in designated discipline. You will perform calculations, analyses, and design work under supervision to develop professional knowledge and apply fundamental engineering principles.

The role includes program development to improve transmission reliability, collaboration with field teams, data submittals for regulatory needs, and participation in industry groups to advance network performance.

Qualifications

• Associate Engineer: 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Engineer: 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Senior Engineer: 5-6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Understanding of AC fundamentals and three-phase power systems.
• Strong data management and analysis abilities including large data extraction and querying.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and SQL Server.
• Programming skills for automation of system studies (Python, .NET, C#).

Responsabilités

• Develop programs to enhance the reliability performance of the Electric Transmission Network; follow up with field and engineering teams to ensure execution and document results.
• Coordinate with engineering and field teams to provide technical feedback to customers whose equipment impacts the BES.
• Manage data submittals for regulatory requirements and industry benchmarking; engage with regulatory data collection and industry activities.
• Assist and participate in equipment failure root cause analyses.
• Participate in company teams and industry organizations to improve Electric Transmission reliability.
