Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Senior Engineer for AI Engineering & Agent Development (Microsoft Copilot Studio) in a hybrid role based in Irving, TX or Charlotte, NC. This 18-month contract may convert to FTE, with a pay range of $70–$75/hr and benefits eligibility.

• Hands-on experience creating complex agentic solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Experience building and deploying AI Agents in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, and Copilot technologies.
• Experience integrating Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and OneDrive.
• Azure AI Foundry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale agentic AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Develop multi-agent systems, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise AI solutions that integrate data, tools, and workflows across the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Build end-to-end agentic solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio
• Develop declarative and custom agents
• Build orchestration layers for planning, execution, validation, and recovery
• Create tool and skill invocation pipelines
• Ground AI solutions in enterprise data using Microsoft Graph
• Develop reusable frameworks and standards within Copilot Studio to enable scalable agent development
• Design integrations across Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android
• Establish AI engineering best practices, including prompt management, skill versioning, testing, evaluation strategies, and CI/CD processes
• Implement monitoring and observability for agent workflows, including execution tracing, performance metrics, success measurement, and failure analysis
• Apply responsible AI practices, including policy enforcement, security controls, data privacy, secure tool access, and explain ability
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions for Copilot and agent-based solutions

Position type: Full-time (Contract)
Duration: 18 Months (Potential for conversion to FTE)
Location: Irving, TX/ Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

As a Senior Engineer - AI Engineering & Agent Development (Microsoft Copilot Studio), you will:

• Design, build, and scale agentic AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Focuses on developing multi-agent systems, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise AI solutions that integrate data, tools, and workflows across the Microsoft ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Hands-on experience creating complex agentic solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, with Copilot Studio serving as the primary skill set and Azure AI Foundry as a complementary capability.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Experience building and deploying AI Agents in enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, and Copilot technologies
• Experience integrating Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and OneDrive
• Azure AI Foundry experience preferred but not required
• Strong background in AI engineering, workflow automation, and agent orchestration

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $70 - $75 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
