Job summary

Innova Solutions in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Lead Fullstack Java/AI Engineer for a 12-month contract. Hybrid role with 3 days onsite and 2 days work-from-home, focusing on designing and deploying AI applications using LLMs and agent frameworks.

You will lead teams to integrate LLM models with WOT products, build scalable Java/Python applications on OpenShift, and mentor junior engineers while staying ahead of AI advancements.

Qualifications

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Lead Fullstack Java/AI Engineer.

Position type: Contract

Duration: 12 months contract

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3days onsite & 2 days WFH)

As a Lead Fullstack Java/AI Engineer you will:

• Design, develop, deploy AI applications using LLM's, agent frameworks, and other related technologies.
• Collaborate with enterprise teams to integrate LLM models with the existing WOT products and systems.
• Develop and maintain large scale applications using Java, Python, OpenShift containers, and other relevant technologies.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, LLM, agentic frameworks and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and develop new ones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to applicationsand models.
• Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk.
• Lead, design, develop, test, and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, model drift, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies.
• Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature.
• Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
• Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers.
• Mentor junior software engineers and collaborate with other leads on the implementation of AI solutions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience building and implementing AI solutions.
• Experience in software development.
• Experience in Python, Java, OpenShift containers, and other relevant technologies.
• Hands on experience designing and deploying LLM based applications.
• Experience in data engineering.
• Experience in AI and ML concepts, including deep learning, natural language processing and computer vision.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence etc.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range*: $65 - $70 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
