Innova Solutions is seeking an experienced AI Engineer- Python for a contract role in Concord, CA. The project focuses on building production-grade Python applications, integrating LLM, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions, and delivering scalable AI products across engineering, data, and business teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on LLM/prompt engineering experience, multi-agent orchestration knowledge, and familiarity with vector databases.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an AI Engineer- Python Position Type: Full-time (Contract ) Duration: 6+ Months Location: Concord, CA

As anAI Engineer- Python,you will:

• Build and integrate LLM, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions.
• Develop multi-agent workflows, orchestration, guardrails, and governance controls.
• Integrate vector databases and knowledge graphs with AI applications.
• Convert structured enterprise data into knowledge-based AI solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and business teams to deliver scalable AI products.
• Leverage AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Devin, while validating and improving generated code.
• Follow enterprise security, AI safety, governance, and engineering standards.
• Develop production-scale applications using Python.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Python development experience with production-grade coding skills.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI/agent development.
• Experience with agent orchestration and multi-agent architectures.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and ability to independently evaluate AI-generated code.
• Experience working with vector databases, knowledge graphs, or similar AI data technologies.
• Experience in regulated/enterprise environments with awareness of AI governance and security.

Preferred Skills

• Practical Agentic AI experience.
• Cloud experience (GCP, AWS, Azure) and/or OpenShift.
• Experience with AI development assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Devin.
• Familiarity with ADK or similar agent frameworks.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $77 to $82Per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
