Job summary

HOLT CAT in Longview, Texas is seeking an Engine Shop Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel and natural gas engines, following established procedures and safety guidelines.

You will work independently or as part of a team, handle disassembly/reassembly to manufacturer specs, mentor peers, manage parts and repairs, and maintain a clean, safe shop environment while meeting customer needs.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of diesel or natural gas engines experience.
• Ability to read/use schematics/diagrams (preferred).
• Graduation from a diesel technology program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses industrial diesel and natural gas engines.
• Disassembles and assembles machine components to manufacturer specifications.
• Rebuilds, repairs, and maintains equipment and components.
• Maintains all equipment and work areas in good condition.
• Applies safety policies and completes repairs documentation.
