Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering with 3+ years aviation experience
• Knowledge of aircraft structures, avionics, systems, or powerplant
• Experience with project execution and cross-functional teamwork
• Experience writing project proposals
• Reliability analysis to identify root causes
• Proficient with Python, Excel, and SQL for data analysis
• Familiarity with FARs governing aircraft certification and maintenance
• MS Office suite proficiency including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking of English
• Eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with predictive digital technology teams to develop diagnostics and monitoring strategies to improve operational reliability
• Review service bulletins and OEM documentation to determine the proper course of action
• Enter Engineering Authorizations data into the maintenance tracking system
• Assist with identification of intervals and methods for Airworthiness Directive compliance
• Identify opportunities to increase airline profitability, block hours, and aircraft reliability
• Technical writing to create clear, efficient work instructions
• Analyze and record component failures to improve airworthiness and reduce costs
• Design, develop, and test solutions for aircraft systems
• Perform engineering calculations to ensure safety and efficiency
• Create and review technical documentation for aircraft systems and structures
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and specialists to optimize aircraft designs
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical submittals
• Monitor and maintain aircraft systems for regulatory compliance
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting
