Ford Pro Intelligence is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers, guiding technical direction and delivering scalable solutions for commercial customers. You will partner with product, design, and engineering to align priorities and drive high-quality software delivery across frontend, backend, and API services.

You will mentor managers, optimize delivery pipelines, and champion security and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 12+ years in software development with Java, Python, C++, Go.
• 5+ years in senior leadership managing teams and delivering software products.
• 5+ years leading teams that build customer-facing browser-based apps with modern JS (React, Angular, Vue).
• 5+ years of cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 3+ years leading teams that design/build APIs with microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering managers who support software teams delivering end-to-end products.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of software projects on time and within budget.
• Guide cross-functional scope including frontend UI/UX and backend APIs.
• Participate in recruiting and hiring your teams and review architectures.
