Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of software development experience with proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Go).
• 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role managing people, leading teams, managing managers, and delivering software products to market.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams that build customer-facing, browser-based applications, with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
• 5+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 3+ years of experience leading teams that design, build, and scale internal and external APIs, with a strong understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering managers who support software teams delivering end-to-end products from conception to production.
• Grow software engineering managers and engineers with performance feedback and coaching.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of software projects within budget and quality targets.
• Lead frontend and backend API teams delivering the services that power products.
• Collaborate with product/design/engineering to define requirements and priorities.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigate issues to keep projects on track.
• Contribute to reviewing designs and architectures with a software engineering focus.
