Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience with central heating/cooling plants and CHP systems.
• Hands-on experience with boilers, chillers, cooling towers, hydronic/steam systems.
• PE license and knowledge of ASME/NFPA/UFC codes.

Responsibilities

• Understand thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid systems.
• Interpret P&IDs, schematics, and drawings.
• Generate conceptual schematics for preliminary cost estimates.
• Perform energy calculations for central plants and CHP systems.
• Develop detailed saving calculations for proposed solutions.
• Create 30-year life cycle cost analyses including finance and incentives.
• Prepare comprehensive scope of work documents.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement solutions for plant performance.
• Engage in customer-facing activities and present technical briefings.
• Travel approximately 30% to support projects.
