Job summary

Trane Technologies is hiring a Sr. Energy Services Project Manager in Ashland, VA.

You will lead project financials, administration, and customer satisfaction for multi-building or complex controls projects, partnering with technicians and subcontractors to ensure milestones are met. The role requires an engineering or building automation background and extensive experience in HVAC/BAS projects, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Building Automation, or Construction Project Management degree preferred.
• Experience in HVAC/BAS controls and leading technical teams.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and communicating project status.
• Review contract documents to identify risk and mitigation plans.
• Manage project financials: cash flow, forecasts, costs, and backlog.
• Oversee subcontractors; manage RFQ process and subcontractor execution.
• Coordinate with technicians and subcontractors on task schedules and submissions.
• Lead change order management and ensure project scope, cost, and schedule alignment.
