Job summary

Veregy, headquartered with an Oakland, CA office, is seeking a Senior Project Developer to manage energy efficiency project development in support of the sales team. You will conduct energy audits, design energy conservation measures, negotiate subcontractor costs, and support project construction to meet budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science/Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in project development.
• 2 years of Energy Engineering experience is desired.
• 1 year experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Visio, Procore, MS Project, MS Office, RS Means estimating or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Performs energy audits, energy modeling, and related studies.
• Guides junior staff supporting Senior Project Developer projects.
• Supports sales to keep projects on a predictable schedule.
• Collaborates to identify energy savings strategies for efficient operation.
• Leads energy-related design or construction issues and sustainable design.
