Job summary

Veregy is seeking a Senior Project Developer in Oakland, CA to manage the development of Energy Efficiency projects alongside the sales team. You will oversee energy audits, design measures, subcontractor costs, and project timelines while ensuring compliance with budgets and specs.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with engineering, and the ability to present findings to clients. Travel around California is expected as part of project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in project development.
• 2 years of Energy Engineering experience desired.
• 1 year of experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Visio, Procore, MS Project, RS Means or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Perform or supervise energy audits, modeling, measurement, verification, or retro-commissioning studies.
• Lead energy-related design or construction issues and guide junior staff.
• Collaborate with sales to develop projects on a predictable schedule.
• Develop energy efficiency strategies and evaluate energy data.
• Coordinate with engineering functions and clients to meet budgets and timelines.
