Job summary

Veregy is seeking a Senior Project Developer to lead energy efficiency project development from audits to final handover in Phoenix. You will design energy conservation measures, bid subcontractors, support sales, and ensure projects meet budgets and timelines while complying with federal and state laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in project development.
• 2 years of Energy Engineering experience desired.
• 1 year of experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Visio, Procore, MS Project, RS Means or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Performs energy audits, modeling, measurement, verification, or retro-commissioning studies.
• Guides and mentors junior staff on Senior Project Developer projects.
• Supports sales to ensure projects develop on a predictable schedule.
• Collaborates with engineering to identify energy savings strategies for efficient operation.
• Leads energy-related design or construction issues (energy engineering, energy management, sustainable design).
• Analyzes energy data using engineering software and creates visual representations.
• Attends internal/external design reviews and communicates project expectations clearly.
