Job summary

Exelon is seeking an experienced project and program manager to develop, manage, and evaluate battery energy storage initiatives, aggregators, and virtual power plant programs. You will craft business plans, charters, and performance metrics aligned with corporate objectives.

This role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and driving change across multiple departments with a focus on reliability and customer impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or STEM with 4–7 years of related experience.
• MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with portfolio management.
• Strong problem solving, analytical/financial, negotiation and conflict management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to develop and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of projects, programs, and initiatives; manage scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate reporting; develop performance indicators and tracking mechanisms; analyze reports and financial data.
• Coordinate corrective actions from performance assessments.
• Support business planning across departments; develop business cases and prioritize deliverables.
• Lead change management; train employees and external personnel on new processes.
• Participate in process improvement task forces; provide benchmarking analyses; report to leadership.
• Guide end users and provide day-to-day support; address inquiries.
