Job summary

Exelon in Newark, Delaware is seeking a dedicated program manager to assist in development, delivery, and governance of energy efficiency initiatives. You will oversee a behind-the-meter residential battery pilot and coordinate customer acquisition, marketing, and reporting while ensuring regulatory compliance and prudent budgeting.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with planners, marketers, and finance to drive program performance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering with 4–7 years of energy conservation / energy efficiency experience, or 6–9 years energy conservation / energy efficiency experience with no degree.
• Ability to work within budgets and deliver promised results.
• Thorough understanding of utility cost recovery mechanisms.
• Ability to communicate with engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, and subsequently implement and manage energy efficiency programs as part of a portfolio approved by the state utility commission.
• Hire and provide daily oversight of various sub-contractors and program fulfillment vendors.
• Develop performance metrics and track them to ensure programs are delivered according to regulations and cost recovery.
• Coordinate marketing and outreach to partners and stakeholders to maximize program performance.
• Prepare program status reports and ensure regulatory filings and financial tracking are in place.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes in line with corporate policies.
