Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation in Minnesota is seeking a experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement for Limited Energy projects, lead a team of buyers, and drive centralized purchasing initiatives to meet schedules and budgets.

You will partner with project managers, estimators and field leaders, negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, and implement cost-saving procurement strategies while maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement or supply chain management in construction.
• Proven supplier negotiations and cost management.
• Strong understanding of electrical components and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of buyers.
• Develop procurement strategies aligned with Centralized Purchasing initiatives.
• Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate favorable terms.
