Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation is seeking a Buyer to support the Limited Energy divisions, assisting Sales and Operations with procurement of materials, tools, and consumables for multiple projects. You will evaluate vendor quotes, work with project teams, and coordinate delivery based on budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities include PO management, vendor negotiations, RFQ execution, and tax administration. The role collaborates with multiple departments and the Purchasing leadership to ensure

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Five years of distributor experience or related purchasing role.
• Knowledge of Limited Energy equipment, tools, supplies and materials.
• College degree preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales and Project Managers with project-specific procurement.
• Manage PO/Change Order input and closures in Spectrum and Remarcable.
• Negotiate with vendors under guidance of Purchasing leadership.
• Support Warehouse with logistics, inventory and tool strategies for systems.
• Handle sales tax administration for procurement and subcontracts.
• Lead RFQ processes for project buyouts and inventory purchases.
• Set up new vendors and maintain vendor files.
• Maintain tax-exempt certificates and internal filings.
