Job summary

Hunt Electric is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Eagan, MN, to support limited energy/low-voltage construction projects. The role partners with project managers, engineers, contractors, and customers to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery within budget.

You will assist in planning, scheduling, procurement, billing-related tasks, and project documentation while developing relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in electrical construction or related field.
• Minimum of two years of related electrical construction/limited energy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC and reading drawings, blueprints, specs, and project documents.
• Understanding of scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with specialized project-management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with project handoff, pre-planning, and coordination across estimating, design, and field teams.
• Review project docs for completeness and accuracy (drawings, specs, addenda, estimates).
• Develop and update project schedules based on customer requirements and field needs.
• Support labor planning and forecasting; coordinate with field leadership.
• Assist with supervising field crews and coordinating vendors/subcontractors.
