Hunt Electric Corporation is seeking a Limited Energy Lead Estimator in Minnesota to lead the Centralized Estimating Department and guide the team from schematic concepts to detailed estimates. You will evaluate bid opportunities and participate in review meetings, mentoring estimators and aligning with business development strategies.

This role requires extensive estimating experience, leadership skills, and proficiency with Procore, D-Tools, and Bluebeam, with a strong background in electrical

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience with program oversight of estimating staff.
• Experience leading bid reviews and developing strategies per opportunity.
• Strong understanding of schematic to design development estimating processes.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Centralized Estimating Department and allocate bid opportunities.
• Develop training programs and mentor estimators, including staff reviews.
• Coordinate with Business Development to pursue bids and strategies.
• Oversee bid/budget reviews and QC documentation for the process.
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
