Hunt Electric in Minnesota seeks an Electrical Project Manager to drive planning, administration, purchasing, engineering, and installation for commercial, healthcare, data center, and light industrial projects in the Greater Twin Cities area.

You will cultivate customer relationships, direct project teams, and manage projects with a focus on economics, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. This role suits strong communicators in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience working as a project manager in the electrical industry.
• Deep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and NEC/OSHA codes.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of manpower and resources.
• Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish the work.
• Willingness and ability to train and educate assigned subordinates.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Exemplifies organizational core values.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing and develop new customer relationships to secure future business.
• Direct and supervise service technicians, general foremen, foremen and their crews in accordance with Hunt Electric Corporation contracts and policies.
• Manage assigned projects as economically as possible while prioritizing customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.
• Prepare, process and maintain all files, correspondence, schedules, reports, and billing for contracts.
• Direct the planning of the project through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.
• During bidding, work with a team as needed.
