Job summary

Meta’s Global Energy Team in Reston, VA seeks an experienced energy professional to manage a portfolio of renewable energy and carbon reduction contracts during construction, development and operation. You will ensure contract compliance, support negotiations, monitor project development and construction, and coordinate amendments with stakeholders.

You will oversee cost and performance metrics, coordinate with legal, finance, and purchasing to maintain contract terms, and enforce obligations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in energy contract management or related roles.
• Experience with renewable energy projects and performance metrics.
• Experience drafting official correspondence and partnerships with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own Meta's operational renewable energy contract requirements.
• Maintain documents and data for renewable energy projects.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract deliverables.
• Review invoicing and reporting for energy project contracts, ensuring REC and cost alignment.
• Coordinate contract amendments and manage signature processes.
• Surface and resolve issues in ongoing contracts and operations.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing and other stakeholders.
