Job summary

Meta’s Global Energy Team is seeking an experienced energy professional to manage renewable energy and carbon reduction contracts across construction, development and operations. You will own contract compliance, support negotiations and monitor project status.

You will coordinate with legal, finance and procurement, maintain contract documents, analyze performance metrics against budgets, and manage amendments, invoicing and RECs to ensure terms are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, energy or environmental science, paralegal studies or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in energy contract management or energy operations.
• Experience managing a portfolio of renewable energy projects and understanding performance metrics.
• Experience drafting official correspondence between counterparties and developing partnerships with suppliers.
• Experience with G-Suite, Salesforce, AI tooling.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships and managing 3rd Party Vendors.
• Experience analyzing energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs and wholesale energy market data.

Responsibilities

• Own Meta's operational renewable energy contract requirements.
• Create, maintain, update and track documents and data related to renewable energy projects.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract deliverables.
• Review invoicing and reporting for renewable energy project contracts, ensuring RECs, costs and performance align with contract terms.
• Respond to counterparty inquiries and manage contract amendments and related issues.
• Manage approval and signature process for contract documents after execution.
• Surface and resolve issues in ongoing contracts and project operations.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing and other stakeholders.
