Job summary

Cascade Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer I with Energy Efficiency and RCx experience to lead and deliver high-profile energy projects across industrial and commercial facilities.

You will analyze energy systems, model optimization, write feasibility reports, mentor peers, and drive program compliance while managing client engagements and ensuring value delivery in a dynamic, ESOP-backed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of refrigeration, compressed air systems, steam systems, system modeling, electrical distribution and data-logging.
• Experience in energy efficiency in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Experience with retro-commissioning (RCx).
• Experience with Strategic Energy Management (SEM).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-profile energy projects, mentoring peers through technical discussions and reviews.
• Quantify energy savings from system changes using established tools and methodologies.
• Engage on-site with industrial facilities to identify opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Present complex technical topics clearly to diverse audiences to drive consensus.
• Collect and report performance data, ensure program compliance and maintain subject matter expertise.
