Job summary

Energy Systems Group is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to expand our energy efficiency, resiliency, and sustainability solutions in Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic. This virtual role requires 50% travel including overnight stays and will interact with utility partners and key accounts.

You will qualify opportunities, develop value-based proposals, and work with ESG engineering and marketing teams to tailor solutions that meet client objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of consultative sales experience in energy services or related infrastructure.
• Experience with utility, public sector, and commercial customers.
• Knowledge ofDesign-Build, P3, ESPC, ESA and related procurement models.
• Ability to develop and present proposals to executives.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and pursue new business targets in VA and Mid-Atlantic.
• Coordinate with Utility Engagement, Engineering, and SMEs to design solutions.
• Develop contract strategies leveraging grants and incentives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to win new orders and manage client relationships.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to identify opportunities.
