Job summary

Energy Sciences is seeking a diligent engineer to help commercial and industrial clients improve energy efficiency. You will identify opportunities, perform energy and economic analyses, review assessments, and collaborate with customers to develop projects and deliver presentations.

Travel up to 25% and on-site work are required as part of daily activities. The role emphasizes working with MS Office, Excel, and building management systems while delivering reports and site surveys to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in energy assessments and commissioning/retro-commissioning work.
• Certifications such as CEM, CEA, CMVP, EBCP, and PE are preferred.
• Two years of experience with energy efficiency programs, retro-commissioning, and energy analyses.
• Strong ability to write reports and deliver presentations.
• Willingness to work on site with commercial and industrial customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities.
• Perform energy and economic analyses.
• Review energy assessments, opportunities, and calculations.
• Collaborate with customers and respond to technical questions.
• Develop projects and prepare reports and presentations.
• Conduct site surveys and facilities assessments.
