Franklin Energy is recruiting an Energy Auditor II to perform on-site energy assessments for small business tenants and building owners. You will recommend modifications to electric and gas systems and install energy-saving devices while guiding customers through rebates and program participation.

The role requires conducting detailed walk-through assessments, explaining findings, and coordinating with property managers to maximize program impact. Travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience demonstrating above-average performance as an Energy Auditor I or equivalent experience.
• One of the following: Residential building construction Heating and Air Conditioning System install, sales or service, Other energy efficiency designations or certificates including: Advanced Home Energy Professional (HEP) Building Analyst Envelope Professional Residential Building Envelope Whole House Air Leakage Controller Installer Heating Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Air sealing and building insulation experience.
• Two years of previous related work experience.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in marketing, community organizing, or a related field - Preferred
• Other experience may be required, based on specific program guidelines

Responsabilités

• Promote the energy efficiency program to customers through the completion of scheduled energy assessments.
• Work with building owners and property managers to provide energy efficiency advice and assistance in participating in energy efficiency programs.
• Deliver professional, high quality services to utility customers.
• Complete walk through energy assessments of properties that identify key natural gas and electric saving opportunities.
