Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Auditor I to assess energy use in small business facilities, advise on improvements, and support rebate programs. You will conduct on-site energy assessments, install energy-saving devices, and communicate findings to property owners and program managers.

The role requires strong customer service, knowledge of HVAC/lighting/insulation, and willingness to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years in marketing, community organizing, or related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, interviewing and communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, self-starter with good prioritization.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Promote energy efficiency programs through scheduled assessments.
• Advise building owners and managers on program participation.
• Deliver high-quality services to utility customers.
• Complete walk-through energy assessments identifying energy savings opportunities.
• Install energy-saving devices (lighting, thermostats, etc.).
• Prepare written summary reports for customers and program managers.
