Job summary

Providence is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to own and operate endpoint management for Windows and macOS across the organization. You will lead platform health, automation, and policy/config management while partnering with endpoint engineering, service desk, cybersecurity, and field support teams.

You will mentor other engineers, define the endpoint management roadmap, and ensure secure, reliable, and scalable device management that supports patient care across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, Math, or related field.
• 5 years of systems administration experience.
• Automation experience in deployment/recovery.
• Experience with multi-tier (n-tier) architectures.
• Ability to simulate outages and resilience modeling.
• Influence software engineering in service architecture to meet QoS.
• Leadership in backlog discussions and standups.

Responsibilities

• Own endpoint management platform health and reliability.
• Collaborate with endpoint engineering, service desk, and cybersecurity.
• Design, scale, and operate Windows/macOS device management.
• Develop automation and standards to improve service.
• Mentor engineers and shape endpoint roadmap.
