Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to own and operate endpoint management platforms across Windows and macOS, including SCCM, Intune, and Jamf. You will partner with cross-functional teams to design, scale, and sustain dependable device management while ensuring platform health and automation.

Remote work is available for candidates within commuting distance of our primary offices; position requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and 5+ years in systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years related experience in systems administration; more preferred
• Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes
• Experience with n-tier solutions
• Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually)
• Experience influencing software engineering team members in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations
• Experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and standups

Responsibilities

• Own and operate endpoint management platforms (Windows and macOS) including SCCM, Intune, and Jamf
• Partner with endpoint engineering, service desk, application delivery, cybersecurity, and field support teams to design, scale, and operate services that manage devices across the organization
• Manage full lifecycle: platform health, infrastructure reliability, policy/configuration management, OS deployment, Autopilot, Jamf workflows, compliance reporting, and automation
• Set technical direction, mentor engineers, and shape the endpoint management roadmap for scalable device management and service performance
