Job summary

Providence is seeking a Service Engineer to own and operate endpoint management platforms (SCCM/Intune/Jamf) and ensure a fast, reliable digital experience for caregivers. You will partner with endpoint engineering, service desk, and cybersecurity to design, scale, and run Windows and macOS device management.

You will lead with telemetry, mentor others, and help shape the endpoint management roadmap, while enabling secure, modern, and consistent operations across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years related experience in systems administration; more preferred.
• Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
• Experience with n-tier solutions.
• Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually).
• Experience influencing software engineering team members in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations.
• Experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and standups

Responsibilities

• Own and operate endpoint management platforms, including Windows and macOS device management.
• Partner with endpoint engineering, service desk, application delivery, cybersecurity, and field support teams to design, scale, and operate the services that manage devices across the organization.
• Set technical direction, mentor other engineers, and shape the endpoint management roadmap for scalable, secure, and reliable operations.
