Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Service Engineer to own and operate our endpoint management platforms (SCCM, Intune, Jamf) across Windows and macOS environments. You will partner with diverse teams to design, scale, and operate services for secure, reliable device management.

The role emphasizes platform health, automation, and governance, with leadership responsibilities, mentoring, and roadmap input for healthcare IT services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years related experience in systems administration; more preferred.
• Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
• Experience with n-tier solutions.
• Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually).
• Experience influencing software engineering team members in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations.
• Experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and standups.

Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and operate endpoint management services across Windows and macOS devices.
• Own platform health, infrastructure reliability, policy and configuration management, OS deployment, Autopilot, Jamf workflows, and compliance reporting.
• Set technical direction, mentor engineers, and shape the endpoint management roadmap.
