Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: 9-13 years with Bachelor Degree or 7-11 years with MS in IT infra and endpoint engineering
• Technical Depth: Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, application packaging, OS imaging, teleconferencing, and user device management (Windows)
• Virtualization Systems: Familiarity with desktop virtualization platforms (VDI, Citrix, VMware, Horizons, cloud desktop environments)
• Location: Must be able to work 100% onsite at the Wichita facility
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to translate complex technical requirements
• Leadership: Ability to coordinate across teams and manage outsourced partner priorities

Responsibilities

• Endpoint & Desktop Architecture: design, deploy, and manage cloud-based virtual desktops and enterprise endpoint solutions
• Oversee digital workplace technologies, identity services, software delivery, and device lifecycle management
• Oversee Outsourced Providers: ensure desktop/virtualization/packaging architecture meets standards and service levels
• Performance Oversight: review provider performance against SLAs and KPIs and mitigate issues
• Operational Control: provide guidance and approvals for designs, maintenance, and priorities
• Vendor Operations Support: onboard vendor team and manage access permissions
• Framework Adherence: administer endpoint technology stack within governance
• Lease & Refresh Management: manage hardware on lease and vendor-driven deployments
• Financial Planning: plan budgets for maintenance, leases, renewals
• Roadmap Integration: translate upgrade roadmaps into actionable plans
