Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking an Endoscopy Technician II to provide high-quality support to GI providers and the healthcare team. Responsibilities include assisting with GI endoscopy preparation, procedure turnaround, and high-level disinfection of endoscopes and equipment.

The role requires at least three years of Endoscopy Technician experience, a High School diploma, and a BLS certification. The technician will mentor Junior staff and contribute to ongoing training within the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare GI endoscopy procedures and assist with turnaround activities.
• Clean and perform high-level disinfection of endoscopes and accessories.
• Assist with endoscopy suite cleanup and setup between procedures.
• Mentor Endo Tech I’s and support GI team members.
