Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking an Endoscopy Technician II to provide high quality support to GI providers and the healthcare team. Under RN and physician direction, you will assist with preparation, turnaround, cleaning and high-level disinfection of endoscopes and accessories, and help anticipate physician needs during procedures.

You will mentor Endo Tech I staff, train new team members, and demonstrate sound judgment while performing endoscopy duties, with independence and strong clinical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of Endoscopy Technician experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prep and turnaround of GI endoscopy procedures.
• Provide high quality support to GI providers and team.
