Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking an Endoscopy Technician II to support GI procedures under RN/physician supervision. You will prepare for endoscopy, assist with turnaround, and perform high-level disinfection of endoscopes and accessories in a fast-paced workflow.

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Three years of Endoscopy Technician experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopy procedures under RN/physician supervision.
• Prepare for procedures and handle turnaround activities including scope cleaning and high-level disinfection.
• Mentor Endo Tech I and train new staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation in EPIC.
