Job summary

Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is seeking a Lead Endoscopy Technician to serve as the technical and operational lead for Endoscopy Services. This role supports procedural operations, equipment management, and workflow coordination to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

You will guide Endoscopy Technicians, promote standard work, and assist with onboarding, competency validation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy experience with advanced procedures and equipment management.
• Strong knowledge of endoscope handling and high-level disinfection.
• Ability to coordinate workflow and prioritize competing operational demands.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and departmental technology platforms.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily technical workflow and assignments with nursing leadership and procedural teams.
• Perform advanced endoscopy technician functions and provide procedural support during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Serve as lead preceptor for orientation and onboarding of new Endoscopy Technicians.
• Monitor readiness and proper functioning of endoscopic equipment, accessories and technologies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, workflow efficiency and regulatory compliance.
