Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a qualified leader to oversee contractor endoscopy technicians in our San Diego clinic. The role coordinates schedules, training, quality control, and clinical operations to ensure safe, high-quality endoscopy services.

You will train staff, maintain competency folders, and communicate with hospital departments, while ensuring adherence to professional standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s degree.
• Must have at least 1 year of gastroenterology services experience (endoscopy/colonoscopy) within the last 2 years.
• Active BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead contractor endoscopy technicians and oversee schedules.
• Develop and maintain training standards and competency folders.
• Update mandatory training and conduct in-service sessions.
• Coordinate with other departments for gastroenterology procedures and serve as liaison between inpatient and outpatient services.
• Monitor compliance with professional guidelines and improve performance measures.
• Ensure regular attendance and report progress and training needs to the supervisor.
