Job summary

Akamai's Enterprise Security Group seeks a Senior Technical Enablement Architect to empower our technical pre-sales teams and accelerate revenue around Zero Trust, Microsegmentation, and SASE/SSE.

You will translate complex security capabilities into clear business value for senior stakeholders, develop demos with TME and SE, and partner with Product Management to craft impactful sales training and content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in presales, SE, or related roles.
• Deep understanding of Zero Trust, microsegmentation, SASE/SSE.
• Experience with AI security in workloads and AI governance.
• Knowledge of datacenter security, networking (TCP/IP, TLS/SSL).
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
• Hands-on cloud experience: AWS, Azure, GCP, microservices, containers.

Responsibilities

• Provide updates to the technical pre-sales community on roadmap, product lifecycle, and key technical information.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to create and deliver impactful sales training and technical content.
• Act as the primary technical POC for Sales Engineers, providing expert guidance on inquiries and RFI/RFP responses.
• Analyze feature requests, propose workarounds, and communicate field feedback to Product Management.
• Guide field teams in designing solutions for complex POCs and strategic deals, ensuring product alignment.
• Develop and maintain product demos in collaboration with TME and SE teams to showcase the Akamai ESG portfolio.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value narratives for senior and executive stakeholders.
